Dorothy Gwilliam

Aged 84 Years 24.12.1924-21.06.2009

A Celebration of Dottie’s life was held on Friday 26th June, 2009 in the North Chapel of Pinegrove Memorial Park, Minchinbury. The service was officiated by Celebrant Michelle Latham (JP)

A moving tribute of Dottie’s life was presented by her grandson – Jason Lucas – sharing the funny, sad and happy times with the many people that had known Dottie over the years. Colin White also spoke fondly of the fun times that the family shared with Dottie, in particular her luck on the pokies!!
Dottie was a lady who was admired and cherished by her family and all who knew her, in particular her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at St. Mary’s Gardens Aged Care Facility who lovingly tendered to Dottie’s needs.

She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Forever in our hearts..

Dorothy Gwilliam's Guestbook

  1. I was so glad to see you recenty and I can’t believe the first thing you asked me was ‘where is Brainy’ You were my inspiration and how I cherish the visits to the TAB with you as a child. As an adult you showed me that there is good in everything and everyone. We always cherrished yor visits and the ice cream Bill brought with him. What a wonderful mother, grandmother and aunty you have been, we will always love you If only we had know we would have been there to say goodbye

  2. Darling Aunty Dottie – how we all will miss you; how you made us laugh, always made us smile and mostly see the joy in life. Throughout my life we shared much.

Funeral Poem

'Everyday in some small way
Memories of you come our way.
Though absent, you are always near
Still missed, loved and always dear.'
