Barry Edward Hall

Aged 58 Years 30.10.1950-25.06.2009

Barry’s life was celebrated on Friday 3rd July within the Camellia Chapel of the Macquarie Park Crematorium, North Ryde. The service was officiated by Celebrant Michelle Latham & attended by many of Barry’s work colleagues from Railcorp.

A devoted husband of 27 years to Rosie, an admired and loving father to Mark and Kylie and special poppy to his grandchildren…

Barry was a wonderful friend to the many people that came into his life and testament to the friendships that he had formed throughout his life were spoken with much emotion and respect by his close friends John & Graham.

Forever in our hearts

Barry Edward Hall's Guestbook

  1. Barry / Training,

11 years working and yarning side by side is too short, but I will always remember it with a smile. There are mannerisms that I carry from you that I will likely carry until I join you in that training room in the sky, and too many jokes and one-liners to mention.

It probably also goes without saying that – after all this time – I am not surprised at all that I was able to come out to you first, before any other. Thank you for that support at such an awkward time.

    Until we meet again.

  2. I am sorry I could not attend Barry’s funeral. However, I wish to say that Barry was a very kind man who brought a smile to everyone’s face with his personality and his own great life stories.

Barry was very kind to me and I will not forget him.

  4. He was an exceptionally honest, trustworthy man and a true gentleman. Men this good are missed terribly when they leave us, but i will keep the memories i hold dearly alive in my heart. I deeply admire his fine qualities and are so proud that this man was my father.
I will miss his presence in this physical life, but I live with him in spirit. I look forward to walking with him again when I leave this earth.

  5. To Dad,

You meant the world to me… I always looked up to you and remembered all the things you taught me – even the bit about ‘when its time to tidy your room just throw them in the wardrobe, no one will see’ hehehe.

I know you will continue to live on in me & Corey as you taught us the ‘computer obsession’ lol.

You are with Nanna now so I hope you are together, and happy.

We will miss you so so much and will never forget you. I love you daddy. and Corey says ‘I love you poppy’.

    All my love

  6. You were my big brother, my “best man”, and my friend. I will miss you, and although you are out of sight, you will never be out of my mind.

Good bye mate and take care of Mum.
